What motivated you to start your business?
I had found freedom in the work I was doing as a VA, and no matter if I was at the grocery store or a local basketball game in our small Montana hometown, I would see people and wonder if they could do what I was doing to find a bit of freedom in their life as well. It was in the forefront of my mind day after day! Working as a VA allowed me to manage my time in a way that benefitted not only myself but my family as well. We could travel to see our sons at college or just get away for a time — wherever there was WiFi, I could work! It allowed me to use my skills and abilities to help others in their day to day business activities and I loved seeing people find success and increased productivity!
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned as a business owner?
Your employees, contractors, VAs, teammates ~ whatever you call the people who show up by your side day after day in business ~ they ARE your business. If you find yourself as a leader making “difficult” decisions for your business that end up breaking trust with an employee… then you didn't make the right business decision.
What are you excited about in your business right now?
For the past few months, my team has worked hard to really “upgrade” Rock Solid. Our website has had a complete makeover, our social media channels have grown, the new blogs are helping so many small business owners, we've incorporated newsletters… the list could go on and on. I so appreciate my Rock Solid team!
How has being a Styled Stock Society member made your life easier and/or benefitted your business?
Our Marketing Manager absolutely loves using SSS. The beautiful images make it easy for her to find ways to plug them into our social media channels. She doesn't have to dig around for hours just to find the “perfect” picture. I love how SSS has brightened up our feed and lightened the load of our Marketing Manager.

If you were to recommend Styled Stock Society to a friend, what you would tell them about the membership?
If you want to improve your social media posts, I highly recommend SSS. They provide ready to go pictures you can plug into your social media platforms. The pictures are eye-catching, relatable, and professional.
