This month we’re excited to feature Krista from Summit in a Box.
1) Tell us a little about your business – what you do and who do you do it for?
I help online business owners who feel like their growth has stalled, despite being organized, driven, and willing to do the work to see a return in terms of income, list growth, brand awareness, connections, and impact. I teach the strategies and tools behind hosting profitable, value-packed, and community-building online summits.
2) What’s one piece of advice you would go back and tell yourself when you were first starting your business (or what’s one piece of advice you would give someone else who is just starting their own business)?
Don't put pressure on yourself to get anything right the first time. That includes everything from your niche to the services you offer to the people you hire. There is no faster and better way to learn that to dive in with your current knowledge and allow yourself to get it wrong. Successful businesses are made from frequent and powerful adjustments after trying something new.
3) What has been your favorite Styled Stock Society collection thus far?
There are so many collections that I use and love. Cozy Entrepreneur has been my most recent go-to. The vibe and colors are spot on!
4) Tell us how being a Styled Stock Society member has made your life easier.
It is so nice to have one easy, well-organized place to go when I need photos for a new project. In the past, I've wasted countless hours looking for free or paid photos and always ended up settling for something I didn't love. It's also great that new collections are released so often so I don't feel like I'm using the same photos over and over again. Even though I have a specific color scheme, I'm confident that there will be something new I can use when I need it.
5) What are you excited about right now?
New ideas! The startup stages of projects are always exciting for me and what keeps my love of running a business alive. There's so much opportunity to make an impact helping new people while moving my business forward in the process. This ties right back into why I love SSS – with all the new ideas I have, I never have to worry about where I'm going to find photos to use!
